A family gym, built by people who love training
Bodyworks opened its doors in Featherstone in 2003 and was reborn in 2018 with a fresh look, new kit and the same family at the helm. Twenty years on, we're still here for the same reason we started: to give local people a gym they genuinely enjoy walking into.
Our story
Est. 2003, reborn 2018
We started Bodyworks because Featherstone deserved a gym with serious equipment and a friendly face behind the desk. Over the years we've grown to more than 100 pieces of equipment, added a state-of-the-art shake bar and welcomed thousands of members through the door.
In 2018 we gave the whole place a new lease of life. New flooring, new machines, a bigger free-weights area and dumbbells that now go all the way up to 100kg. What didn't change is the welcome. We're a family business, and we like to think our members are part of that family too.

Bodybuilders, beginners, mums and dads squeezing in a session before the school run, people getting back on their feet after an injury. Our members are as varied as Featherstone itself, and everyone gets the same friendly hello. If you're nervous about walking into a gym, we get it. Come and say hello, and we'll show you round at your own pace.
